Aroma: very good. Earth and coffee. Medium pungent. Someone on BA pointed out burnt cream and fuckyeah, there's notes of burnt cream.
Taste: very good. Nice coffee and malt up front with a bit of milk in the middle and finishes with a bit of sourness. Nothing striking, nothing weird - this is both good and bad, depending on your aim.
Mouthfeel: excellent. This is where this beer excels. It is a milk stout, and the mouthfeel doesn't disappoint. Full; creamy and chewy as can be - there is no doubt that lactose is abundant in this beer. Carbonation is medium.
Overall this is pretty damn enjoyable. Sweet, nothing off-putting, and that damn creamy mouthfeel makes this straight-up yummy! The critic in me says it could be better, and it certainly could, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it!
Cost: $9.99 for 6 12oz bottles, making it $0.14 per oz.
